What this program covers

Hutchinson Community College's Welding Technology AAS is built from three certificates (A: SMAW/GMAW/GTAW flat and horizontal; B: SMAW II/GMAW II/FCAW vertical positions; C/AAS: GTAW III and SMAW III pipe welding at 2G, 5G, 6G) covering arc welding, resistance welding, brazing and soldering, cutting, and high-energy beam processes on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Students have the opportunity to take Welder Qualification Testing under AWS or ASME codes.
