TCAT-Livingston's welding program is now operated as TCAT Upper Cumberland (the tcatlivingston.edu domain redirects there). The Welding Technology program is a full-time, 12-month, 1,296 clock-hour program offering Certificate and Diploma credentials from Welders Helper (84 hours) through Combination Welder (1,296 hours). Instruction covers shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux core arc, and gas tungsten arc welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Full-time day classes run Monday-Friday 7:45am-2:15pm; an evening-only option runs 1pm-9pm Monday-Thursday, and part-time schedules require at least 15 hours/week. ASME and API qualification/certification paths are available. Total tuition/fees are $4,761 with $1,546 in textbook/supplies costs, offered at the Main Campus (Crossville), Bledsoe County (Pikeville), Livingston, and Cookeville Higher Ed Center.
