What this program covers

TCAT Nashville's Welding Technology program is a 12-month, 1,296 clock-hour program offering Certificate and Diploma credentials (Shielded Metal Arc Welder, Gas Metal Arc Welder, Combination Welder), in Day and Night formats. Instruction covers gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and shielded metal arc welding, oxy-fuel gas welding and cutting, plasma arc cutting, and resistance welding. Students pursue AWS certifications including D1.1, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G, and Pipe Welding qualifications. Total tuition/fees are $6,212 with $1,258 in textbook/supplies costs, at the Main Campus (Nashville) and Portland Campus.
