What this program covers

TCAT Harriman's Welding Technology program offers Certificate and Diploma credentials through three options: Shielded Metal Arc Welder (432 hours), Gas Metal Arc Welder (864 hours), and Combination Welder (1,296 hours), totaling 1,296 clock hours for the full program. Instruction covers SMAW, GMAW/MIG, and GTAW/TIG, with day and evening classes; evening students at the Loudon County center attend about 4.5 terms at 20 hours per week. Total tuition/fees are $5,136 with $1,709.36 in textbook/supplies costs, offered at the Main Campus and Loudon County Instructional Service Center.
