What this program covers
White Mountains Community College's Advanced Welding Technology certificate is a one-year (two-semester) program covering shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux core, submerged arc, and gas tungsten arc welding plus oxy and plasma cutting. Fall term runs 7 lecture and 24 lab hours weekly, and spring runs 7 lecture and 23 lab hours weekly. The program prepares students for AWS D1.5 and D1.1 Structural Steel Unlimited certification and an AWS Aluminum Aerospace Certification, and graduates may continue into the college's Pipe Welding certificate.
