What this program covers

Eastern Maine Community College's Welding Technology is an Associate in Applied Science offered in a one- or two-year format, covering SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, oxy-fuel cutting, air carbon arc cutting, and plasma arc cutting, with pipe and structural welding integrated throughout. Graduates prepare for and take AWS Structural Certification, ASME Section 9 SMAW Pipe Certification, and ASME Section 9 GTAW Pipe Certification. The Reginald Ray Scholarship is available to encourage students to complete all three years of training.
