What this program covers

Cisco College offers a Welding Level I Certificate (two semesters, 23 hours) and a Welding Level II Certificate (four semesters, 47 hours). The curriculum covers shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, and gas tungsten arc welding, plus blueprint reading and layout/fabrication, taught hands-on at the Cisco Campus and the Abilene Educational Center with both day and evening courses. Optional AWS procedural testing is available at a reduced cost after each certificate level, and the page states there are no special selection criteria for the program.
