What this program covers

Washington County Career Center's 12-Month Welding certificate program totals 720 hours, offered in two schedule options: Monday and Tuesday 8:00am-4:30pm, or Monday through Thursday 5:30pm-9:30pm. Instruction covers TIG, MIG, and ARC welding, oxyacetylene cutting, horizontal/vertical/flat weld positions, open butt welds, welding symbols, blueprint reading, and an introduction to fabrication. Four certifications are included with tuition (not individually named). Tuition is $8,100 plus $1,967 in supply costs; the program is Ohio's Options eligible and Pell Grant eligible, with a transfer-to-degree pathway option. A separate non-accredited 3-Month Welding course is also offered.
