What this program covers

Delgado's welding program offers three Certificates of Technical Studies -- Flux Core & Gas Metal Arc Welder, Shielded Metal Arc Welder, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welder -- each taking approximately 9 months to complete. Instruction covers SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes in a shop area at the Jefferson/River City site. Completing students can earn NCCER Welding Levels 1 and 2 and AWS SENSE certification (effective Spring 2017).
