What this program covers

Lincoln Land Community College's Workforce Institute offers four welding certificates: Basic Multipractice Welding, Intermediate-Level Welding, Advanced-Level Welding, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding. The program teaches current welding processes including flat and position welding and prepares students for the AWS entry-level welder certification exam. Basic/SMAW runs 8-16 weeks, Intermediate runs 16 weeks (one semester), and Advanced runs 32 weeks (two semesters, fall and spring).
