What this program covers

West-MEC's Welding Technology program is 900 clock hours of competency-based, hands-on training, offered over 60 weeks (16 hrs/week) or 80 weeks (12 hrs/week). It covers SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and oxy-fuel cutting. Central Campus (Glendale) offers afternoon and evening sections Monday-Thursday, and Southwest Campus (Buckeye) offers morning and evening sections Monday-Thursday. Program tuition is $16,950 with a $50 application fee; the program is FAFSA eligible (code 042472) and GI Bill approved, with interest-free payment plans.
