What this program covers
AVTEC's Industrial Welding program is a 1,110 clock-hour certificate program run Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with four achievement levels from Welder's Helper to Certified Structural/Pipe Welder. Instruction covers SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, plasma arc and air arc cutting, and oxyacetylene welding. Students can pursue OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, AWS Structural Certification, and ASME Section IX 6G Pipe Certification. The program has January and August start dates.
